DPI Director Fellhofer at the International Security Forum Bonn 2023
From October 19 to 22, 2023, the International Security Forum Bonn (ISFB) took place for the eighth time at the University of Excellence Bonn. This year's event was organized by the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) in cooperation with the Academy of International Affairs NRW under the title "A world out of joint - global power shifts and religious extremism". The renowned partners of ISFB 2023 included the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), the German Society for Security Policy (GSP) and the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS).
Under the patronage of the Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst, international experts from academia and practice exchanged views on current global issues. The Documentation Centre Political Islam (DPI) was represented by Director Lisa Fellhofer, who led through the agenda item "Political Islam as a hybrid actor in Europe - activities, means and strategies".
