A roundtable on the topic of "Tactics for TikTok - the dangers of radicalisation for children and young people" was held at the Green Parliamentary Club this week. In addition to the Green members of the National Council for the areas of youth and security, Barbara Neißler and Georg Bürstmayr, numerous experts from various fields were also present. These included the sociologist Kenan Güngör as well as representatives from the Extremism Advice Centre (BOJA), the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence Service (DSN), the Federal Association of Parents' Associations, Epicenter.Works and the Federal Youth Council (BJV). The Documentation Centre Political Islam (DPI) was represented by Markus Wagner, who spoke about Islamist influencer groups on social media. These groups mix current social issues with their extremist ideology.
