DPI Director Fellhofer at the Pfingstdialog in Styria

From 15 to 16 May 2024, the “Geist & Gegenwart”-Pfingstdialog took place for the 12th time at Seggauberg Castle in Leibnitz. The focus was on the challenges and opportunities facing European regions in a globalised and multipolar world. Experts from various fields took part in keynote speeches, panel discussions and insider groups over the two days. The Documentation Centre Political Islam (DPI) was represented by Director Lisa Fellhofer, who spoke with Ralph Janik (University of Vienna), Manfred Prisching (University of Graz) and Rahim Taghizadegan (Director of scholarium) on the topic of "Who still believes in democracy?". The panel was moderated by Thomas Mayer (Der Standard). The entire event was officially opened by Styrian Governor Christopher Drexler and took place under the patronage of Styrian Science Minister Barbara Eibinger-Miedl.
