Conference on Extremism and Radicalisation Austria – Islamism after the Arab Spring
Aviso: Scientific conference of the Documentation Centre on Islamism after the Arab Spring on 29 & 30 June
The theme of the conference is “Islamism after the Arab Spring”. Over two days, renowned international scholars will discuss developments in the field of religiously motivated political extremism over the past ten years in a total of six panels and analyse current challenges.
The opening keynote address will be given by Joas Wagemakers, and the evening of the first conference day will conclude with an Evening Address by Bernard Haykel. The closing words will be spoken by Mouhanad Khorchide, Chair of the Academic Advisory Board of the Documentation Centre.

As part of the reporting on the 2024 National Council elections, the Director of the Documentation Centre was a guest in an edition of "zur SACHE Spezial" on ORF III.
