European exchange on extremism in Brussels
The Documentation Centre Political Islam (DPI) is committed to open exchange and international networking. ERCOR (European Research Community on Radicalisation) provides the European Commission and EU Member States with expertise and advice on preventing and countering radicalisation. The conference brings together Europe's leading researchers on extremism and counter-extremism to present and discuss the latest findings.
DPI Deputy Director Ferdinand Haberl, as a member of ERCOR, represented the Documentation Unit at this year's EU conference entitled: "Violent Extremism and Counter-Extremism in Europe: What Next?" in Brussels in October 2023. In addition, networking meetings were also held in Berlin and Bonn in October.
